I started Tails and Trails because I believe every pet deserves a day filled with adventure, mental stimulation, and plenty of tail wags. Animals have always been a part of my life - whether it through family pets growing up, studying Animal Care at college, training dogs or just being in the countryside enjoying what nature has to offer. After spending years in the agriculture and finance industry and becoming a mum of my two girls, I decided to turn my lifelong passion for animals, and my Animal Care education, into a career that allows me to spend every day outdoors with my four-legged friends.

My Own Furry Family: I’m a proud pet parent myself to Koda, our 13 year old husky/malamute mix. My experience with her has taught me so much about the needs of an energetic breed with a high prey drive. Having owned Border Collies and German Shepherds in the past, Koda, has by far, been my most “challenging”dog yet. Let’s not forget our two Fancy rats, Lucky and Moo who have won the hearts of my whole family.

Safety First: For your peace of mind, I am fully insured, DBS-checked, and have completed a Canine First Aid training course.

A Personalised Approach: I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. You’ll receive photo updates and a brief message after a session, so you’re always part of the adventure.

When I’m not out walking, you can usually find me pottering about in the garden or trying to manifest myself a little smallholding with chickens, ducks, dogs and maybe a donkey or two! I’m passionate about what I do and would love to meet you and your best friend for a free meet-and-greet!
